Stepwise House Programmes

Three Programmes, Three Distinct Situations

Each programme at Stepwise House is designed for a specific point in a household's financial life. None of them tries to cover everything.

How Our Programmes Are Structured

All three programmes follow a similar foundational method: they begin with a listening session, work through the educational content at the household's pace, and conclude with a clear record of what was covered. The facilitator does not direct the household towards any product or service.

The programmes differ in scope, duration, and the financial question they address. They are not a progression — a household can enter at any of the three depending on what is most relevant to their current situation.

Programme One

One Small Step Programme

For adults who feel that they 'should' have better financial habits but find large reforms difficult to sustain. The programme focuses on choosing one small, realistic step in the participant's household finances — a single standing instruction, one quiet monthly review, or one small habit of reading a statement — and building it into comfortable practice over a single month. No larger reforms are attempted.

  • Suitable for adults at any starting point
  • Two sessions, one selected habit, one month
  • In-studio (Shah Alam) or online
  • No prior financial knowledge required

Programme Three

Terraced Plan Engagement

A four-month engagement producing a simple written plan structured as three deliberate 'terraces' — one for the coming twelve months, one for the second and third year, and one for the broader five-year horizon. The deliverable is a short printed document the household keeps as a working reference.

  • Listening session, three working sessions, one closing session
  • Printed household reference document included
  • Three time horizons: 12 months / 2–3 years / 5 years
  • Payment in two instalments available

Engagement structure

1Listening session — household situation and directions
2Working sessions — building each of the three terraces
3Closing reading session — reviewing the printed document together
